I recently returned from a trip to the east coast. I had gone home for my 10 year high school reunion, which, as it turns out, was quite fun. I had managed to tie in the trip back to Maine with some work meetings, so I ended up in both Boston & NYC. While in NYC I met up with my college roommate. He had recently delved into the world of home brewing with his ladyfriend and I got a chance to sample the results. Tasty, to say the least.
I had always had the notion that home brewing would yield tasty beverages, but I had no idea how easy it was. The home brewing industry has honed the process down so that anyone can buy a simple kit and just 4 short weeks later be enjoying the sweet nectar of their labor.
Over the next few weeks I'll be publishing updates on my own trials and tribulations while brewing my own beer. Here's a preview: It's delicious!
